As an employer, you want to connect with the most talented, driven and creative students…but you’re not sure where to start. That’s where we come in.
Career Talks for Forward-Looking Employers
When you sign up to present a CALES Career Talk, you get the unique chance to connect with the brightest and most hard-working students in the College of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences. Unlike other career-focused events, a CALES Career Talk will offer you direct access to the top students preparing for work in your field.
Career Talk FAQs:
A CALES Career Talk is an informal one-hour event that facilitates conversation between students and industry professionals. These events are hosted in person and online. Those who participate in person will be provided with a catered lunch and a free parking pass.
Presentations are informal and flexible in content and format. In the past, speakers have discussed their career journeys, background about their company/organization, what they do in their current role, industry trends, and current opportunities (jobs, internships & volunteering), utilizing slide decks, open discussions, picture presentations, or traditional lecture formats.
