Summary Description:
The Administrative Assistant directly supports the daily business operations of the professional (LOA/LORT D) theatre company at the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. This full-time position reports directly to the Producing Artistic Director, but also supports the Company Manager and Director of Production as assigned. While mostly 8-5, M-F, this position will regularly need to be available for some evening/weekend hours.

Anticipated Salary Range: $19.25 to $23.88 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Handles administrative duties as requested including reconciliation of P-cards, departmental work orders, and others as needed.
• Prepares and manages the rehearsal space and Second Stage in the absence of Production Stage Management. Onboards specific staff as requested.
• Manages internal events including auditions, first rehearsals, photo calls, talk-backs, tours and others. Assists with theater education programs as needed.
• Serves as liaison to House Management and front desk staff to ensure proper information is being conveyed and both areas have materials needed. Coordinates delivery of playbills.
• Orders and tracks supplies for the performing arts department as needed.
• Creates and maintains a system for collecting demographics and other data from hired personnel.
• Manages and updates script library including scanning, printing, assigning and collecting scripts. Maintains departmental cloud and server storage and serves as point person for other departments requesting assets.
Additional Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in theatre or equivalent practical experience in theatre production or management; an industry knowledge of stage management; general office skills, including general knowledge of Microsoft office. Must be available for some evening and weekend assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of AEA rules and practices. Experience in a professional theater.
